| Today the new .rot had their 1st match beating [Sweep] on Palermo. So next week we will have a shot at the title for the XGL, hopefully we can win it and keep it for as long as this clan sticks together! |

| Well as of today .rot is officially gone. Hard to keep a clan together when the members don't seem interested amd don't come to practices. I kind of lost interest too, but now that high school sports are done I have started to become interested again. It looks like it is too late to save the clan though! It was fun while it lasted. We just lost our 3rd match in a row to }S-N{. The last few practices we haven't had anyone showing up, which makes it hard to learn the strategies, and when you don't know the strategies then you are almost garanteed to lose. Our roster has been shrinking slowly, but we have 3 new members: sh4x, Knight, and Oldskool. Hopefully when we get the new server tuxis providing we will have better practices and get a couple wins. If people don't start getting more involved then this clan will most likely break up soon, so please get to practices.

If most people can't make these times, then we will need to discuss and come up with new practice days and/or times. |
| Well as far as I know we don't have any matches for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. The next few weeks we will be practicing cornield so everyone please download the map. I have added a download page to our website so you can find that map there. I also added DB strats in the members' page. They are all typed out and neat, so check them out. I'm open for suggestions on improving them too. |
| We just got done with the ADL championship match against 3v. WE WON! Final score was 205-200 and it was a very good game. Even though we won I still think there is A LOT of room for improvement on our defense. Most mistakes were little things that everyone hsould already know to do. We will work on thise mistakes during practices. The next few weeks for the ADL we will be playing maps that most people in this clan probably aren't familiar with yet, so we will need to get some good practices in this week before we defend our title! Please get to practice and even look at the maps on your own a little. |

So anyways, we just beat }S-N{ on dustbowl. It was a good match, but we were kind of screwed at the start because a certain person named boner.rot left mysteriously and never came back. We held them for about 35 points for the first two caps, but managed to hold them until 105 on the last one. W00t. It turns out that they capped with about... oh 10 seconds left and I am pretty sure that if boner didn't leave o nthe first cap we could of gained those 10 seconds and held them on cap 3. OH WELL, us leaders are just going to wait for a reason, or explination =).
Enough with tonight's match. Sicne we won tonight we will have yet another chance to beat 3v for the championship. We will be playign them next Sunday on dustbowl. We have a scrimmage this Wednesday against -=SoL=- so we can work on our D strategies. Then Saturday we don't have any matches or scrimmages so we need to get a really good practice in the prepare us to face 3v the next day. Just to let you all know, I'm not totally sure I will be at the scrimmage against -=SoL=- high school soccer has started so I'm pretty busy now. SO HUSH ABOUT UPDATING THE SITE. Just kidding. Ok, I have wasted enough time typing all this, and you have wasted enough time rea... I mean see you all Saturday or Wednesday.

Last night was our championship match with 3v and I thought we did alright, except one big mistake. We held the first cap for only about 40 points. I think we could have done A LOT better if people would show for practice. I know I have said that a lot, but its especially important now that we are playing new maps. The final score was 200-138, but I think that is a little deceiving. We actually didn't do that bad, or maybe that's just cause I'm in .rot. Anyways, good game 3v hope to play again soon =).
I have heard that the long lost Kamikaze Jo is back, and he will be putting up a server for us on the fifteenth. We have a bye week on the ADL. That's it for now... lets get to practice!!! |

| .rot is now in ADL Gold. This Sunday will be our first match in Gold, but it is against a clan that is new to ADL so it should be interesting. The map will be palermo, so if you don't have it go download it and learn the map. In fact, download all the ADL maps while you at it. Its official now that we will meet on mIRC before matches instead of AIM. If you want to play in matches, but don't have mIRC, go get it. This last Sunday we had a good match against [TnS] on osaka_r. The finals score ended up 275 - 90. |

| We had our match against .m4 and won!!! We are now ranked #2 in the DBL, and it was a needed win after coming of a 3 match-losing streak. Nice game everyone. Remember we have a match this Sunday, and I hope to have a good line-up. Also, some members would like to start using mIRC before matches instead of making a AOL chat room. | Well we lost our ADL match last night to [.neM]. We lost by about 13, but it appears they wanted to win by more so they took some of ours away or something. Anyways, good game [.neM] and fellow clan members. We will meet again... oh yes, we will meet again. Guys the two matches that we have this week are a must win, we are already on a two match losing streak. It would be nice if we can have our "better" players show up. |
| We have suffered our first loss to SOTF. It was a good game, and we lost by 10 little tiny stupid points! We got screwed on cap 2 when someone who wasn't sappose to touch the flag took it and got it stuck on the left side of the cap. I'm not going to name any names Dogy, but that is the exact reason why we only let designated people touch the flag. He didn't mean to do it and its not his fault so don't give him any shit... shit happens. I dunno but maybe people will start showing up for practices now. |
| We just had another match against -=|Mr|=- for the DBL. We won by 10 points =\. MeDiCs is back in our clan, or still is, don't really know, but it doesn't really matter either. He is also a new leader, so respect him. Please show for practice this week we have things to work on. |
| We just had our first STA-ADL match. Barely had enought to play, but that's kind of my fault cause peopled idn't know about the match=\. We beat -]FxP[- on avanti. We got a lot of new members and I TRIED to update the roster but I don't have the information I need from them. MeDiCs quit the clan, for reasons I don't know. We have another match tomorrow against -=Mr=-. It's the rescheduled match from the wierdest DBL match ever, due to communication and server problems. That's it for now, see ya tomorrow. |

| Another win for .rot tonight. I couldn't make this one but the rest of the clan did good and beat -=LKTA=- 220-160. Good job guys. We have practice this Saturday try to make it. That's about all I have to say... except there has been some people I haven't seen in a long long time. I don't know if its because of Christmas or what, but please try to be a little more active =). |
We just had our first DBL match against .nL, and I am very happy that it was also our first win for any league =). The final score was 180-165. Thank you .nL for a great match. I have a demo of the match if anyone wants to watch it...
Although we did win, our defense was a little sketchy at times. The only way we can improve that is with practice. I'd just like to say thanks to boner for showing up for the match even though he wasn't sappose to. Without him we would have only had 7 people for the last 2 caps. I'd also like to say F##k you to Alfrezno because he said he would show up for the match, and guess what... no Alfrezno seemed to show for the match. I forgive u Alfrezno =) I still love you.
We have been thinking about joining the ADL league, but I don't know if you guys want to just stick with the DBL or if you do want to join the ADL. Just tell me what you think and we may join the ADL within the next couple of weeks. |
Yesterday we had the most people show for practice yet, but 5 of them were recruits... Anyways, we will be having our first match for the DBL soon. So just be ready and make sure you know the strategies. You can still see the pictures of them in the members area, and fat was nice enough to type them up in the members forum. Just read over them and memorize what you are expected to do.
The clan has decided it is time for some cuts. Sadly, I will annouce the first member cut from .rot, the name is Redneck. Sorry Redneck, but you lag too much and are not a vital part of the clan. We will most likely be making more cuts, but for now Redneck is the only one.
Tux will be going away for 3 weeks, so we will e finding someone to replace him as HW =(. While he is gone he said he will try to set ys up a server on a T-1 that his dad's company owns, so that will be nice. It's not a sure thing because as of right now he doesn't have a computer he can use for it =\. |
I'm fucking pissed, this is the fourth straight practice where 1/2 our clan hasn't shown up to practice. Quote from boner, "When is our next match going to be?" Well boner... maybe when you decide to show up for practice one of these days. Many clans fall aprt because people don't show up to practice and/or matches and it seems like .rot could be one of those lcans if you guys don't start getting to practice. People are already talking about joining ADL when we haven't even played 1 DBL match. Then we have cO| a guild inside of a clan that doesn't even have time for practice. How will you guys have time for a guild if you can't even making a practice twice a week?
Here is what I'm forced to do now. From now on, anyone that doesn't show up to practice will not play in the next match. If we are short players then we will play short, or forfeit the match. If you miss 2 practices in 2 weeks (without a valid reason) then you will be kicked out of the clan. If you know beforehand that you can't make practice then it is your responsibility to e-mail one of the leaders (preferably PeePs.rot) and you will be excused from practice without any consequences. Of course, it is up to the leaders whether you will be allowed to participate in the next match. Showing up late to practice is not acceptable either. Showing up more than 10 minutes after the practice has started will also result in you not participating in the next match. I'm sorry if it is not your fault that you can't make practice, but that doesn't mean you don't even have to come. If you are not able to make clan practices, then maybe you shoudl think about if you are clan material. There are plenty of othe r people that want to join.

We have just joined the DBL - Dustbowl League. We were going to try and get a match scheduled soon, but Turkey Day is messing it all up so I think we will wait until the week after Thanksgiving (December 1st). Now that we are getting into more action we really need to work on our strats on defense for the first two caps. In the members area i put some diagrams of our strats so pelase look at them and memorize where you need to be.

| WE WON OUR 1st MATCH!!! We scrimmaged [TnS], and beat them 220-110. Thanks for the scrimmage [TnS]. Right after that we had a scrimamge against 2 ~Rak~ and 3 [YYZ] players. We went into overtime in that one and we finally won by 5 points. Thanks to ~Rak~ too. You can see some screenshots on the screenshot page. Our D wasn't as good as it could have been but that will be taken care of at our next practice. Good Games fellas, keep it up! |
| Well guys tomorrow we have our first scrimmage, it is against [TnS]. Be on aim at 8:45 eat. at the latest. Failure to do so will result in not playing =P. We have a members page now, so if you haven't given me a password already then you need to do so. We have just gotten our mIRC channel too. It is #clan-rot on gamesnet. We will probably start meeting there before matches, but for tomororw we will meat on aim. |
Well we jsut had our fist clan practice. Nothing really happened we jsut played each other for a while, and hopefully we will have recruited a new member names MeDiC.rot during it. We had a good number of people show up with really short notice, so I think that we will start practices weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00 est.
We will now have 11 members if MeDiC decides to join, but before we sign of for DBL we want to have more because if we sign up now and then recruit some more members they will have to sit our for two weeks before they can play (DBL rules). If anyone knows someone good that wants to tryout then just e-mail me about it and they can attend our next practice.
One last thing, as you can see we have a banner, but it isn't very good. I jsut made it real quick because we needed somethign to fill that space. If you can make a good banner for use please do it. |
We have a lot of new members, so many I'm not goign to list them now. Now that we have a total of 10 members we can start to set up scrimmages, and we will be joining DBL shortly. We will also start to schedule practices weekly (see forums).
I have notices that not many people are responding to my forum topics. Please check the forum frequently and respond to topics dealing with the times, scheduling, and other things that will affect the clan. If you don't then you may not be able to make a lot of the matches. |
| We have 4 new members: terrorist, tux, Alfrezno, and boner. Our name seems to have changed from -Rot to .rot and before we are able to have any matches or scrimmages we need AT LEAST 3 more recruits to have a team of 8. Of course, everyone isn't always going to be available so we will need extras. |
The site is basically done, all I need is for someone to make a banner =). Now we can start recruiting so that we will be able to have scrimamges and join the dustbowl league. As I said before we won't get our dual OC-3 server until January, so until then we are playing at :
